The Sacred Music Institute of America has offered online educational opportunities since 2018, before many other organizations went online because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Institute is a pioneer in harnessing the power of technology to help students anywhere in the world grow as musicians.  We offer:

 

• Online courses which involve both pre-recorded lectures and "live" study/practice sessions over Zoom

• Individualized one-on-one online lessons in organ, voice, piano, chant, and conducting

 

While students are sometimes a bit skeptical about online lessons, most who try it discover that the Institute's approach, incorporating self-recorded videos, allows them to:

• Accelerate progress and grow in confidence

• Analyze challenges more effectively, leading to greater critical skills

• Track their development in a quantifiable manner

• Improve more rapidly than through traditional in-person study
